For a photographer, there are few things more flattering than someone saying "I like your work," and even fewer things more flattering than someone saying "I like your work, hire me to do it for me." It seems like that's what happened with what you're doing—your shots have a certain warmth and intimacy, and they really reflect the personality of the subject. When a representative of a local business contacted me about doing some headshots for their city council, I was excited to work with them. They were looking to have a photographer come in and do a session with each council member, and they wanted the portraits to be taken against a backdrop. I shot these photos using my mobile backdrop and softlights.
